Eight Years of Transformation and Partnership

Eight Years of Transformation and Partnership

If you’re looking for a coach and facilitator who mixes science, art, and heart to lift up leaders, teams, and communities — you’ve found your person!

Some of my favorite work experiences of all time have been designing and facilitating team meetings with Kerb. I love collaborating with someone who can so adeptly craft team activities that are strategic, inclusive, fun, and effective. Teams typically enter offsite meetings worried and anxious. With Kerb they leave with a sense of higher awareness, trust, transformation, and clarity — which is the foundation for team engagement and performance to take root, sprout, and continuously grow over time.

Kerb and I began our partnership while working together at Geocaching, which is where I first observed some of her infinite superpowers. Geocaching had a strong ecosystem that many employees felt very safe and happy working (and playing) in. And, there were some folks in the community that didn’t feel a sense of belonging. Kerb stepped into her power as a leader who brilliantly balanced 1) providing the underrepresented community with a safe space to elevate their voices, and, 2) facilitating risky and important conversations with both the people and executive teams.

We partnered up again at Simple, as consultants and also as People Team members. As a consultant Kerb designed an experiential program to integrate and cement the company’s core values. Kerb’s innovative approach to program development honored the varying needs humans/teams have when they are attempting to collectively integrate a big cultural shift. Kerb’s work was a catalyst for the evolution and development of other programs such as employee learning/development, career paths, and company brand.

As a “mini-plot” coach Kerb helps me to see myself and explore my identity as a leader who inspires abundance mindset and a human whose purpose is to be a co-creator of positive change. Looking ahead, I see infinite opportunity to support humans, teams, and organizations as they work to create ecosystems where everyone wins. There’s so much work to do. And, transformation is happening all the time. I’m clear now that my role as a leader, above all else, is to practice the art of being present and listening with deep compassion and curiosity.
